The PUZZLES UNIT
In this puzzling unit, fourth grade students learned about logic, KenKen, Sudoku, and Picross puzzles. After learning to solve these puzzles, students worked to create their own book of puzzles so that they could share their LOVE of puzzles with the class! Students worked independently and collaboratively to meet the challenge of this MATHSTORMS unit! Great job 4th Grade!

"I liked learning about the new puzzles. When I saw a Picross puzzle for the first time, it looked like ancient ruins. At first we did some puzzles. I liked seeing how an easy puzzle is different from a medium puzzle. It is also really fun to make puzzles. My personal favorite was Sudoku because I used a pattern to fill the numbers in. This was a great LEAP unit.
